Okay so I keep getting marked really low on my Seller Dashboard monthly review.... in particular, "Tracking uploaded on time and validated" area... in fact, on my tracking report, it shows that all of my transactions haven't been uploaded with tracking info. I do all of my shipping labels through paypal and I am in Canada. What am I doing wrong? I ship out within 48 hours of selling my items (in most cases), so am I missing a step or something in letting eBay know this? When I use paypal for the shipping labels, it automatically is marked as shipped... so what am I missing?

When print your labels through Paypal, does the tracking number field get populated in eBay? In other words, is there any record of your shipments in ebay?

Yes, when I create a shipping label in paypal it shows as "shipped" in ebay. HOWEVER, most of my shipping from Canada to the US doesn't allow for a tracking number. I can only put tracking on a parcel if it's of a certain size or weight.

eBay requires a tracking number. Just marking the item as shipped doesn't count.

You need to have tracking in order to make ebay's TRS requirements. There is no requirement for it otherwise however.

^^^ This is the correct answer.

The "Tracking uploaded on time and validated" item on your seller dashboard is related to eBay's Top Rated Seller (TRS) status. If you don't care about maintaining or aspiring to TRS, then this metric doesn't apply to your selling.

... at least for now.
