Does this announcement mean that eBay is going to start factoring weekends into historical shipping data when determining estimated delivery dates- even if the seller does NOT opt in to weekend S&H in settings but historically ships on Saturdays 3 out of 4 times a month?
Please say no.

@coffeebean832 Totally understand!
Here's the information I received: "Estimated delivery dates, from a seller-control lens specifically, goes off of what they have selected within their Shipping & Rate Tables. If they elect to ship out on Saturday/Sunday but only have M-F selected in their working days calendar, it will not impact their estimated delivery dates down the line.
It will benefit the buyer, since the system generated estimated delivery date based off of seller working days and carrier estimated delivery date."
I hope that helps!

Hi @coffeebean832 - My understanding is that there hasn't been a change to how estimates are calculated when a seller is not specifying they ship on weekends\, but I don't want to say this is official before I hear back from an expert. I've reached out for clarification and will share the answer with you when I get it.

Thanks. That would have a big impact on ETDs (in a bad way) so hopefully they aren't going to start factoring that in when sellers haven't opted in.
