We have been selling on ebay for 5 years have 100 percent pos feedback and always ship when we say we do..
we went on vacation June 14th though the 19 and set our ebay store to seller is away settings.
we had 5 sales while we were away and each customer knew that we would not ship till the 19th..
We thought this would be the correct way to go on vacation and follow all ebay rules all our customers were happy.
but now our DSR Shows tracking not uploaded on time? on 5 items yet they were delivered on time
We try to follow the ebay system every step of the way Does anyone else have any like kind of issues?
we contacted ebay chat and they said there is nothing we can do.. we are a top rated power seller and want to stay that way
Thank you

In order to avoid being dinged for late shipping, you must hide your listings. Ebay used to warn you about this when you used the Vacation setting.

There are 2 options for vacation settings. The default first one is to leave the store open and listings visible with a note THERE MAY BE A DELAY in shipping and the date you will return. The second way actually prevents any purchase at all and also shows a return date. I've done both ways depending on my situation. My experience is if you chose the later it can take up to 24 hours for the inventory to reappear.

The third option is to allow sales but adjust your handling time to reflect your actual anticipated shipping date. In the case of an absence June 14 - 19, you would have been protected by a handling time of 5 days.
There's a warning on the Help page about vacation settings:
