Has anyone noticed that eBay purchase detail is no longer showing any Tax Paid code in the purchase details page? I thought we are supposed to be required to write the code on the waybill for international shipping to some countries such as UK, Australia, etc. so that our buyers will NOT get double charged by the import custom? I see that our customer surely got charged for VAT charge by eBay.
Does anyone have any idea if this is a glitch or there was any change around it that have been made recently? Any comments would be very much appreciated.

Is this specific to one country or region, or is it happening to any country where VAT or GST is normally charged by eBay?
And are these pricier shipments to the UK or EU? If I recall correctly, if an item is valued at more than €150 or ₤130, customs will collect the taxes (and duty, if applicable) on the item.

I noticed this as well. Buyers in "VAT" countries are liable for double taxation I would imagine since there is no VAT paid reference with the address. Glitch? Sellers need to know what's going on here before an avalanche of bad will comes from VAT country buyers.
