I accidentally printed out an old shipping label and took my package to FEDEX. The person who helped me accepted the package but said that she couldn’t give me a receipt because her scanner showed that the package had already been accepted. She advised me to take a picture of the shipping label to track the package and assured me that there wouldn’t be a problem. I can’t believe I didn’t double check the label at this point 🤦🏻♀️. When I checked the picture hours later I realized that the address was incorrect so I run to FEDEX to retrieve the package but they said that the package had left that location. I called the 800 FDX number and they told me that they couldn’t help me but they gave me the address of the next location where my package was going, unfortunately that place was closing in 10 min. and representatives are not allowed to give you the number of any of their locations. They also told me that by the time I go tomorrow my package will probably be out of that location. I’m hoping that someone catches the mistake and sends it back to me (the original sender), it doesn’t make sense that FEDEX can continue carrying a package that shows that was delivered. I’m very mad at myself right now, I just hope I can get my package back. I will send a message to the person where it will be send and I hope that he answers my message and returns my package because it’s a very expensive item 😣
