Uncombining Orders to Qualify for eBay Standard Envelope for Trading Cards

Here's my problem, with an example:

Buyer buys 4 cards, each $19, and the seller offers combined shipping so the buyer pays $0.53 via eBay standard envelope for all 4 cards... Seller looks at shipping options, sees that standard envelope was chosen by the buyer but seller cannot click on it (it's grayed out)... There is no option that I see to uncombine the order so that the seller can ship these in separate standard envelopes...

I would love someone to tell me how this can be done... Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, eBay offers the option to combine but does not offer an option to un-combine. You will not be able to use ESE for this shipment.

If I spent $76 on cards I would expect the seller to spend the $4 and change to ship 1st Class package with a real tracking number. If I was the seller that's how I would do it.

I sell a lot of inexpensive cards using that shipping option.

However, I wouldn't send a $19 card using that method.  Just asking for problems.

Re: Uncombining Orders to Qualify for eBay Standard Envelope for Trading Cards

It would be great if they would fix this. I recently had someone buy 19 cards and the buyer was able to select eBay Standard Shipping. There is no way on the listing to prevent or control this.  Obviously I can't jam 19 cards into an envelope and use eBay Standard Shipping.  Plus, the total order amount was >$20 which disqualifies it from eBay Standard Shipping.

What is needed is for it to be configurable.  For example, if a combined order contains > 4 cards offer the buyer only 1st Class Shipping -or- if the order total is >$20 offer only 1st Class Shipping.

I hope eBay is listening and makes this configurable soon.
