What happens when a customer does not reschedule a package delivery that was sent back to the Post Office because they were not available to collect on the date of delivery?

What does the tracking say? If there is anything like:
The those are considered by eBay to be the equivalent of "delivered!" Seller is done as they have met their obligation to deliver the package.

Do you mean it was “returned to sender?”

I am the seller and I shipped the package which was not delivered because the buyer was not available so USPS took it back to the post office for the buyer to reschedule the delivery and I sent multiple messages but I received no replies.

The message states that they need to reschedule the delivery or the package will be returned to sender so I was a little nervous as to how it would affect me as the seller.

I'm the seller. The item is being held at the post office for the buyer to reschedule the delivery or it will be returned to me so I was a little worried it would affect me negatively.
