I am having an unusual amount of packages being lost by the USPS. Tracking states package will arrive later than expected date, than no follow up. I have placed a missing mail form with the USPS with no results. Buyers file a complaint that the item did not arrive and I am losing a ton of money since the package is never delivered.
There is a lot of severe weather across the country. Are you sure those parcels are lost or just delayed due to the sort centers being affected by the weathe? There are a few problematic USPS hubs right now. Chances are high that your parcels are stuck in some container at one or more of the backlogged sort centers. This is quite normal during the winter months when there is severe weather or big volume in the system.
I have weather alerts on the tracking for most of my recent sales. I messaged all the buyers that have not been delivered. I wanted to be proactive to try and avoid your trouble. I received a couple replies that they understood. There is nothing a seller can do once it hits the PO. Hope you get it worked out without to much trouble.
