The USPS contracts with many airlines to deliver mail to other countries. The airlines have been quoted on tv news of cancelling flights to China and Hong Kong to protect their employees and passengers from the corona virus.
Mail will eventually arrive there - probably routed through third world countries. Rumors abound of China paying big bucks to certain countries willing to accept and reroute mail going into and coming from China.
