USPS refused to pickup.

I called for a USPS pick up.   They just came and told me they have no room for it.  Said they thought it was  smaller.  Said he would come back it a few hours after making all deliveries.

That's crazy, I'd be surprised if they go back to get it.
I scheduled a pick up got eMail confirmation of a successful pickup yet the packages were still on my porch. No postal carrier ever came back. I ended up taking my package the next business day to the PO myself. I did complain about it all I got was "oh we're going to look into that."

Good thing I switched to three day handling.

That's not a refusal; that's a delay, if it just happened today.

After reading some of the comments and stories posted on this board by USPS carriers, I believe it's possible for their vehicle to be too full to accommodate a large package, especially in rural areas where they use their own vehicles. Currently Amazon is having a Spring markdown sale, so there's probably some increase in the number of Amazon packages being delivered by USPS this week.

Today is Saturday, so for the purposes of eBay tracking, they don't recognize any difference in handling time between a Saturday pickup scan vs one on Monday.

That was the parcel delivery guy.  The mail lady just came by and she took it.

Re: USPS refused to pickup.

This is a rural area.

Out here in horse poop acres, things are a bit different.    They only ask the weight and number of packages not their sizes when requesting a pickup.

Re: USPS refused to pickup.

The regular USPS Carrier Pickup request form is the same: it only asks for total number of items and estimated total weight. Thus, the total volume is always a surprise. I'm glad to hear that your situation had a happy outcome.

Re: USPS refused to pickup.

Good to hear that it is on the way.

Out here where we are even less than some podunk village location the last time I had a "Saturday" package out in the box, and the sub was on, as I had no incoming mail..............  she just drove on by.

Actually a non-point other than I would like to have had an acceptance scan. I have stopped shipping on Saturday. Firstly, because the sub may be on (no scan if she drives on by), and secondly because no mail leaves the PO Saturday afternoons anymore from this area.

Re: USPS refused to pickup.

You never did mention the size (dimensions) of the parcel...
