USPS package scanned by worker but not showing up in system as accepted? +

I waited in line for acceptance scans for 4 packages. Three of them went through fine and I got a receipt. The postal worker seemed to be having trouble with my last package. The scanner was beeping it in but she said it wasn't showing up in the system? She said she couldn't give me a receipt but not to worry it will show up as scanned later. She then proceeded to also scan it with the portable scanner. She didn't say anything about it being an issue with how I taped on the label etc. Hours later all the packages show accepted except this one. Luckily, this one package is not very valuable so I did not want to ask for the supervisor or anything like that. However, I would still appreciate any feedback if this has happened to anyone and if it resolved itself. I generally feel like it will probably get to the buyer but I do hope it gets scanned in and especially gets a delivery scan. Thanks!

Not a lot you can do right now. Hopefully, it will get scanned when it gets to a distribution center. Does the USPS tracking show that the label was created?  If nothing happens in a few days, then you might call or open a Help request on the USPS website.

I'd not worry yet. I ship USPS exclusively and haven't had delivery problems... but sometimes strange scan issues, admittedly. Good luck.

Thank you! I do think the same exact thing happened once before with the same clerk too. However, she is a bit hard to understand so both that time and this time I was not able to get a great understanding of what the issue was just her assuring me it would be fine. It did work out last time, I just mostly want to understand the problem but hopefully will see it scanned sometime soon.

Update in case this happens to anyone. All is well. The tracking updated at 9:00 pm but did show the acceptance scan from 10:30am. It has since shown additional scans.
