This is just a "heads up" which I am sure applies to some other places in the country as well, but: there are often lengthy delays on packages going through the Greensboro, NC USPS regional sorting center. Packages come from as far away as CA in 2-3 days, from the Midwest in 1-2, and from the Northeast in 1-2, in all cases depending on whether you benefit from early shipping. Then they hit Greensboro and stay there for 3-7 days, according to tracking. This is not consistent, to be fair most items stay on schedule or close to it, but there is some sort of snafu at GSO from time to time. Seems to be more with inbound than outbound packages, but does apply to outbound as well.

Beware the Detroit, MI area sorting hubs too. In the past month I have received 6 late delivery defects because of these folks. All items shipped on time or day before required. My account shows 100% shipped on time with tracking.
Really sick of my account getting dinged because USPS doesn't deliver when eBay says they will.

I'm still missing a delivery that went to Memphis in mid-June.

That Greensboro hub used to be really really efficient until they closed the Roanoke Va hub and moved that traffic down to Greensboro. Then it all seemed to hit snags every so often that slowed everything down.
