How does a package take 3 weeks to get from NJ to philly PA. I practically live 45 minutes away. I shipped with priority shipping and have three orders going to philly and the item was purchased Dec 18. Cmon the Post office has to do better than this. The customer has been staring at a big red dot on his tracking for 3 weeks!

Well I sent something the other day across the country: shipped on the 4th, delivered on the 6th, FCP.
So YMMV!
NYC hubs have always been a mess. Just saying.

It’s a bummer, but not unfair. These customers have been waiting some a month for their items that is just outrageous.

Yet you have no listings. From my and many others' experience, the USPS is almost back to normal. Ballots? Please too much drama. The ballot thing is way past over. Mail UPS or FedEx if you are having problems.

Fed Ex and UPS did not have NEAR the problems they had. They had no problems apparently hiring and retaining people.

What 5 reports? They do not take missing mail reports offline at Post Offices. Everything is done electronically, including filing. Follow the procedures that they have set up as it is a lot simpler. They also assign case numbers. She who? Nobody assigns anything to managers. I should know as I am a retired PM of 33 years.

I recently opened two new research cases to find packages that are way overdue so no, things with USPS are far from back to normal.

I bet you 100k+ Ballots still in the usps system lol. How outdated the system is

Philly PA has been the spot that I have heard about the most for delays.

LOL! I don't think anyone is saying EVERYTHING is back to normal. Just that if you ship something today, it has a pretty good chance of being delivered as per normal schedules. Yes, the stuff that is "way overdue" is the backlog that is being worked off. Seems like anecdotally that backlog won't be cleared until the end of the month. But that doesn't mean the whole system is still gridlocked or current shipments will get delivered timely.
Maybe to some this is fine distinction? For me wanting to ship today, I am glad that the package won't get stuck 'in traffic!'

Hey, just for clarification purposes... no listings on an ID posting here is de rigueur. Many use what are called Posting IDs. eBay allows a person to have a number of IDs on their system. Posting IDs are used to protect sellers from interference from buyers when they don't like what a seller posted. Believe me, it does happen, sadly! 😒 Cancel culture don't ya know! 👎

YOU GOT LUCKY on that one.

No, negative feedback is not removed even if buyer does not tell the truth. I had a customer who I made first contact with about shipping issues due to USPS, item was mailed on time I had numerous contacts with customer and even refunded monies after filing a research case with USPS. Customer left negative feedback saying there was very little feedback. Ebay stated they would not change feedback because it was the opinion of customer, I even gave dates of contact with customer. USPS now raising rates for subpar service

I’m in Michigan and shipped a priority package on Dec 7 to PA and it arrived Jan 11. It’s crazy. Filled out many missing mail forms and I think that helped.
I won’t even get into international slowness 🤦♀️
good luck!

I did one form....a package to NJ. It got stuck at a distribution center. The local post office called to tell me "it's in transit" which I already knew and a the good news was "we are the next stop" which was the buyers post office. Never said they actually found it. It did get to the buyer about a week later.
I have 4 packages coming to me from PA to Tn. shipped 1/7. Still in Pa. One of the four has made it to the second processing center in PA. The other 3 aren't to the first one yet.
It's not just USPS....I had a package to Canada that sat in the Toronto Distribution Center for a week before going to the buyer's Toronto Post Office.
