USPS Signature Confirmation - where is the signature?

OK, item was shipped with signature confirmation as well as insurance over the amount that mandates a signature. The item was picked up but is there a location to view the signature? Is that only available to the USPS?  I am a little confused because signature confirmation was checked when I purchased the shipping label and expected to get some sort of confirmation.

How to Get a Copy of a Delivery Confirmation Signature

The USPS keeps delivery status and signature available for one year after the date of delivery. To receive a copy of the receipent's signature :

• Call USPS at 1-800-222-1811 - Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM Eastern Time
• You can request that a copy of the signature be faxed, mailed or emailed (at no additional expense):
• Faxed receipts are generally processed within two hours, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
• Mailed receipts are sent as First-Class Mail® items and should arrive in two to three business days.
