USPS Shipping calculator

When I try to use the shipping calculator, I enter my zip code and the destination zip, then choose a shipping day/time. Whether or not I specify ground shipping, when I try to enter the package dimensions, the zip codes disappear. I have tried many many times ,without success, to circumvent this glitch. Of course, there is no possibility of live human contact, so I am left furious at the ineptitude and stupidity of the website and whoever is behind it. Is there any help for this problem?

USPS Shipping calculator

The 'shipping calculator' is for sellers to use and the ONLY zip code is the one that you are shipping from (since nobody knows where a buyer lives until a buyer buys).

I have no problem with it on desktop with Firefox and Chrome.    If you are also on desktop, try a different browser ... I don't think that interface has changed in 5 years, so it is possible that there are some browsers that no longer play well with it.

If you are trying on mobile, then perhaps go over to desktop.

Are you referring to the ebay calculator for when you are setting up a listing or something else? I don't see a place to enter the shipping day  on the calculator so you might be referring to the usps site calculator or perhaps on the ebay label page?

Take another look @stainlessenginecovers . You can enter both ship from and ship to zips if desired. Destination zip is optional.

I echo this question @dougaldubh because the eBay shipping calculator does not have a place to enter ship day/time.

Sorry, I didn't mention that it's the USPS shipping calculator. I use it to determine a flat shipping rate that I include in the listing. The eBay calculator works fine - I use that when I am ready to print a label. Thank you all for your replies.

ah, a worthless glitch (why would anyone care? why would they have that?) Probably why it doesn't work because nobody needs to know that. Go to the carrier website if someone is 'curious' or just go to ebay, dont' sign on, click 'shippng' and try a couple zip codes to see the price change.

I don't use Calc'd so I never looked,  but understand the concept.

Haha  - read the post above yours @stainlessenginecovers . OP confirmed the issue is at usps.com and not with eBay's shipping calculator.

Since the usps.com site is giving you problems, perhaps switch to eBay's shipping calculator?

oh, ok. I wonder why anyone would post on an eBay forum about a problem on another website?
