USPS Parcel Select Ground

When I listed an item, USPS Parcel Select Ground was the cheapest way to ship, so that was the shipping method I chose (and what the buyer marked). However, I don't get that as an option to ship. Can I ship it USPS First Class Package? That is an option and the package qualifies?  I read on a thread that I can get a USPS Parcel Select Ground using PayPal, but prefer not to do that. Plus it says First Class is 2- 5 days and Select Ground is 2 - 9 days. Is there any reason I can't or shouldn't send USPS First Class Package?

Dave, 

Yes, first class is considered an upgrade to parcel, so it’s fine. 

As long as your item weighs less than 16 ounces it can go 1st class, via eBay shipping.

The lack of Parcel Select Ground choice in the eBay shipping options has been a vexing issue for a while.

Parcel select is not available online, you have to go to the post office
