So I sold a buyer a pair of NOS electron tubes last month. Bought the eBay shipping label, attached, and dropped off at the USPS. Tracked to the city of delivery then "Insufficient Address - Returned To Sender". Then, nothing. I filed a package find request and nothing. Told the buyer I'll issue a refund, which I did. After two weeks, filed a USPS claim for reimbursement. Value was $350 but the settlement was for $59. Should I appeal or should I have bought additional insurance? I'm lost. Thanks...

Was the $59 the $50 automatic insurance + the mailing label cost? I am assuming it went Priority Mail.

"Bought the eBay shipping label,"
that is the 50 plus cost of shipping covered only: you should have purchase more insurance...

Yes. Perhaps I should have bought additional insurance to cover the bid $$. I’ve been a long time buyer but since I started selling, total disaster.
