USPS Insurance coverage changed?

Browsing the new ebay shipping label page, I notice that the free USPS insurance limit is $50 for all Priority mailings.  Am I wrong or is the a decrease from the previous $100 coverage?

USPS Insurance coverage changed?

Insurance coverage with Priority Mail hasn't changed. It's $50 if you pay for your postage at the retail rate at the PO, or with regular online postage rates (Commercial Base).  If you are a TRS, then you pay the Commercial Plus rate, which comes with $100 of coverage.

TRS = Top Rated Seller

One can also get the Commercial Base Plus rates if they do a lot of volume on eBay ... I think the number used to be (or still is) averaging 300 shipments a month.

If you have to ask, then you probably are not one, and were never getting $100 of Priority insurance coverage grin
