Can I create a shipping label on return of incorrect item?

I receive an incorrect item.  I opened a return item, detailing incorret item.  The seller messaged me and indicated they were getting my correct item back from another buyer and would send me the correct item once I sent the wrong item back. The seller has promised to reimburse me for shipping.  My problem is this: I would like to create an label through ebay, but it doesn't give me the option under the menu they indicate (Returned cancelled items/View return details/Print Label).   Is my only option to mail it outside of ebay?  Would make the reimbursement for shipping an issue?

After the seller approves the return through eBay, you will be provided with a return shipping label.

...is it complicated because I'm not returning the bought item, but a mis-shipped item? (I'm not going to be given a credit for the original purchase.) Are we sure that the label path is generated in that case?
