USPS does not have a flat rate shoe ,It is just standard pricing . They do have a regional flate rate A 2 box that is size of shoe box . ????
The RR A2 Box measures 10 -15/16 x 2-3/8 x 12-13/16; The RR A-1 is 10 x 7 x 4-3/4
Shoe Box is 7-1/2 x 5-1/8 x 14-3/8
The RR B-1 box come closest to the size of the Shoe box but the shipping price goes up

Because it ships at the regular Priority Mail rates that are based on weight and distance. There's no special rate for the shoe box, so there's no reason to list it separately (as is done for the flat-rate and Regional boxes).

For the Regional "B 1" Box you have on the the list ... After it exceeds $13.60 you might as use a Medium Flat Rate Box because it can weigh up to 70 lbs for that almost same size box and you'd be paying more if it was heavier not to mention the med box is a bigger. Yes specs will tell you it's not like here in the picture however I have them both in front of me and the medium box flat rate is bigger!

I deliver both almost daily (m-f) and the RR'B' is larger (except in the 1/2" difference in height) than the MFRB.
