I already received my refund from the seller but I still want the item. It only says, "accepted" at a sorting facility in NY which I called and they said it's not their anymore but they haven't been any updates since then for the package. Except for computer generated tracking updates at the same time each day for a couple of days then stops. They say, "In transit to Miami, FL, 33125".
tracking number,
92021902081469000000001048
any help?

Whatever you do, don't fault the seller. I recently dealt with a very similar situation. I shipped within my handling time to the Detroit area from Florida, and beyond my control, the package was listed as delayed by the USPS. It may have been due to weather, big time snow, act of God, maybe an issue with a train / plane / truck / postal employee, whatever. But it eventually was delivered, albeit almost a week late.
Tracking obviously says it's delayed and in transit. You should eventually receive it. When, who knows, but you should receive it. When you do, the honest thing to do is repay your seller and give them positive feedback with 5 stars all the way.
Sellers do everyting we can to provide 5 star service, but we depend on the USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc. to extend that service. You can clearly see there's an issue on the USPS side, not the seller. Patience is a virtue, and hopefully you'lll get your item in the end.

I have found that if you go to the USPS site and enter the tracking number, it will give you a place to put in your email so you can get updates on the package if and when it is scanned again. Somehow this seems to get packages on the move - it doesn't make any sense but it seems to happen. Possibly they go looking for it when it doesn't get scanned for a while? If the package is truly lost or was stolen it won't help, but it's worth a try.

I had a package going to Florida stuck in transit for 5 days tracking wasn't updated and on the 6th day, I refunded buyer and guess what, shipping finally updated then was delivered the next day. It took a total of 10 days to reach buyer.

Since you had received a refund the seller knows the item hasn't been delivered. We would assume the seller insured the shipment and has filed a lost package claim.
Have you advised the seller that you will pay for the item when you do get it? Because we know the seller will want to reimburse the Post Office like you will doing for the seller.
