I returned an item thru the ebay system. The seller won't refund or replace as they can't find the item and say I didn't use the ebay system .

I've also unfortunately no longer got the receipt.

Where can I find proof of return on ebay?

I'm not following. How did you return it "through the ebay system"? Did ebay or the seller supply a postage label, or did you pay for postage yourself?

If you went through the ebay system, then the tracking number should be on the return itself unless you shipped on your own and didn't enter it.

Did you print a label thru your computer or did you buy a label at the post office?
