USPS Exceptions

This is the tracking entry for this today.  Any idea what this means?  I tried calling the PO and the phone just rings...................sigh

Processing Exception, Other Delay

It's kind of a catch-all. I've seen it used when a package was misrouted- or when a sorting facility was closed so the package had to go to an alternate facility which wasn't equipped to handle the volume, thereby causing a delay- or when a facility was severely backed up so all incoming packages got that tag. I'm sure there are hundreds of reasons why that tag could be used.

Crud.  This is the parcel that is due to VA today for the buyer who bought and wanted it by Monday.  

Welcome to Monday.  It does not even tell me "where" this exception occurred.  I hate USPS right now......
