I have been seeing a lot of unexplained Tracking information from USPS Ground Advantage uploaded by the USPS computer auto generated in their tracking system on their website and on eBay . Also USPS internal tracking system has been getting wired info on the ground advantage also may be part of reasons for unexplained delays also . which The USPS rep's from the 6th District office for Southern Ca. said the scans are from the shipping containers only and they aren't unpacking the containers at each hub stop to scan in packages ,which has been causing a lot of problems for the employees and customers being told the package was never loaded or lost at the shippers end . Side Note I had this happen with a pack shipped to me .
