UPS took my USPS package.....Help...

The UPS carrier accidentally took my USPS package when he picked up 2 other packages that he was scheduled to pick up. The UPS carrier came to the door to get the 2 scheduled shipments at the same time that my neighbor was walking out my door. As I passed the 2 scheduled shipments to the UPS carrier I told my neighbor that the 3rd box (still inside the door) was a shipment scheduled to be picked up tomorrow. When the UPS carrier overheard me say that to my neighbor He stated that he could go ahead & take the other shipment now since he was already here.  I didnt think twice about his offer because I knew UPS has picked up & delivered other packages for USPS that I shipped a few months back. I handed him the 3rd package (clearly marked for "USPS Priority Mail" in a brand new USPS priority mailing box) & he proceeded to hand me a printed receipt from the machine around his waist. I didnt realize that the reciept only showed the 2 shipments he was scheduled to pick up but didnt show anything about the 3rd package. As I watched & waited for the USPS package via the USPS tracking number it never showed anything beyond the label has been printed & is waiting to be received by USPS. The USPS package has been missing for almost 4 weeks now. Neither the buyer or I have received the package & UPS & USPS cant find it. USPS wont let me file a claim because it has never been "scanned in" by a USPS carrier. UPS wont let me file a claim because it does not have a UPS label. I cant get anyone to help me at UPS even though I have the whole transaction recorded on my ring camera. Can anyone offer me any advice on how to proceed with this issue? I already know that from now on I must be extremely dilligent in making sure every shipment is scanned in front of me &/or I get a receipt that clearly shows the correct tracking number. Please... I dont need advice about how to prevent future shipment issues I need advice on this particular shipping issue.

Call UPS and ask for a supervisor.  It may take more than one call.   That is stolen US mail.

Exact same issue happened to me, my UPS delivery person solved the issue. He felt obligated since he took the package

**bleep**. This same thing JUST happened to me. It's been a week, but I'm 100% sure the package is missing now. Im beyond describable words mad. I can't do anything
