I used eBay to pay for a label to ship via UPS, and the cost of the shipments charged to my eBay invoice 2/18/2021.
UPS lost the package, and I am unable to open a claim with UPS because the label was a posted against eBay's UPS account not mine.
When attempting to submit a claim as the recipient (as I was told by UPS rep)UPS does not allow me to open a claim due to zero tracking stating the item was never shipped!
I shipped the package at the same time as 3 OTHERS 2/22/2021 all being delivered, but this one has NO tracking updates.
UPS is trying to investigate, but I can not open a claim due to the fact this was posted using eBay's UPS ACCOUNT!

soulds like you did not get an original scan for the UPS package. If you would have had an accepted scan from UPS you would be good to go, I have filed claims with FEDEX that was printed through e bay. Your situation as posted has nothing to do with printing the label through e Bay.

I am going to check with the UPS drop off, but UPS toward me the problem is I used an eBay account to print my label. Therefore, in order to submit a claim I would need that account number or try to file as 3rd party which has not worked.
Ass stated, 4 packages dropped off same time same location all show movement but this one , hence how could UPS miss 1 in a group of 4??

I had to file a claim for a lost package with FEDEX where I printed the label through e Bay. It sounds like UPS is trying to get away with not being responsible. BUT if you did not get that original acceptance scan you are SOL.

Go to your shipping labels and open the little menu next to the label, is there an option to file a claim there?

I'd give it a few days. I just received number 5 of five packages that were shipped to me on the same day. Got number 4 yesterday, and 1/2/3 the day before.
And the no tracking updates on late stuff? That's been going on since the pandemic thing started..throw in a little weather and it's really a mess right now. More than half of my shipments are getting delivered late. No tracking updates until AFTER the packages are delivered.

Went to the UPS terminal today 2/25 where we dropped off 2/22/2021 between 1-2pm afternoon. Tried to help and security got involved looking into lost and found. UPS dropped the ball, but without a scan I have to eat the ball for $133.
