UPS Shipping Label Fee?

Earlier this month I sold two items for $350 a piece. When I purchased the shipping labels I paid around $30 for each label (UPS Ground) and they where charged to my PayPal. Well, this morning I got an email from eBay saying that they deducted $30 from both sales for “UPS Shipping Label Fee”.

What is “UPS Shipping Label Fee” and why was I charged $60 on top of the $60 I already spent on shipping these two items? Iv been selling since 2016 and haven’t seen this before.

Thanks in advance.

UPS Shipping Label Fee?

@deftones88   Here is a link to your Transactions file, scroll down until you find the lines where you paid for the labels ... if they are there take a screen shot of them.   https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/transactions

Next, log in to PayPal and go to your Activity file and scroll down until you find the transactions for those $ 30 labels, take a screen shot of them.

If both eBay and PayPal show you have paid for those labels  (twice) then eBay needs to pony up the money and give it back to you.   You can post this issue on Today's Weekly Chat at 4 PM Eastern time and ask the eBay support team why this is happening?!?

If indeed you were double charged for the shipping labels and you are in Managed Payments then I suspect this issue (like many issues) is with eBay's programming ... and if it happened once it could certainly happen again ...

UPS Shipping Label Fee?

Spoke to a very helpful person at eBay and got things squared away. Apparently I was not charged twice. I thought when I purchased the labels on ebay I got notifications from paypal saying that I paid for them, but I suppose I was just imagining things because I don't see those transactions anywhere in my paypal.

Sorry for any confusions. Marked as solved.

AFAIK, you can't pay for UPS labels with PayPal. I just created one and never was given the option to do so.

You're probably right. In retrospect I should have double checked my Paypal before making a big stir about it. I think whenever I made the UPS labels earlier this month I had some USPS labels purchased through Paypal, along with some miscellaneous transactions at the same time and mistakingly got things mixed up.

I really appreciate the help.
