So this month I had only shipped 2 things with UPS. And now last night after over a week of them being delivered was charged an underpaid charge for both of $8.25 for "Additional fee". I know its the holiday season, and not sure why it wouldn't be added to the price when you initially buy the label, but will these fees be charged after the fact for all UPS labels for the rest of this holiday season?

In order to help you determine if your charge was legit or in error (and how to appeal), view the label details and expand the section on the bottom right that says see cost breakdown (highlighted below in green). Black out order #, tracking #, and buyer ID and post a screenshot.
Please also provide a physical description of the package (box, bag, tube, box with handle, etc).

Both were shipped UPS Ground.
Package #1 was 2 pounds and 37x3x3 shipping tube. I was charged $12.95 extra for shipping a tube, and then another $8.25 that just says "Additional Fee".
Package #2 was 31 pounds and 41x31x8 box. Was charged $8.25 that just says "Additional fee".

If you had the tube listing marked as 'irregular packaging' those fees would have been charged upfront instead of after the fact.
The $12.95 is for nonstandard packaging shipping in a tube and the $8.25 is a peak season demand surcharge for packages that require additional handling.
The tube requires additional handling because of the irregular shape.
The box requires additional handling because of the size. I'm not sure why the demand surcharge wasn't factored in upfront for the box based on dimensions.
An Additional Handling charge will be assessed for any package that requires special handling, as determined by UPS in its sole discretion, including, but not limited to:
• Length plus girth: Any package with its length (longest side of the package) plus girth [(2 x width) + (2 x height)] combined exceeding 105 inches.
Read more about the demand surcharge here:

I suggest reviewing both this eBay help page on package types, and the UPS link in the irregular packaging section so you can determine upfront if your packages are considered irregular or if they will be subject to the demand surcharge. https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/usps-fedex-ups-package-types?id=4864

Shipping tubes cannot be stacked and can roll away so they require special handling, hence the he additional fee.
For the second one, someone more knowledgeable will come around.

The tube I understand, although I didnt mark it as an irregular package. If I had, UPS wouldn't have been the cheapest option and would have went with USPS instead. As for the the box, they seemed to only charge the additional fee for seasonal demand.
I understand what the charges were for. My question is will UPS continue to do these charges after the fact throughout the rest of the holiday season? Im not sure why they didnt just add it to the cost initially when purchasing the labels.

USPS also adds a surcharge for tubes but it's much lower at $4. You would have seen a cost adjustment with any carrier since you didn't mark it irregular upfront.
Will you keep seeing after the fact adjustments? At this point it's hard to say. eBay hasn't programmed it in which is why I'm seeing sellers report receiving the demand adjustment for packages based on weight/dim like your box.
I think you should review the info I provided and figure out what requires additional handling with UPS. Based on that, assume an extra $8.25 adjustment for anything requiring additional handling until/unless eBay adjusts the programming.
