Traveling and shipping from a different location , is it possible

If a person were to bring your items for sale with you when you travel temporarily, is it possible to ship from different locations in the US

Of course, I don't see anything wrong with that. I myself have done on items that are pending payment, or offer sent while I'm preparing for vacation. The only possible downside, is if a buyer complaints seeing that item should shipped from Fairview, Montana, but it is scanned from Los Angeles, CA, or shipping cost/transit time might be different from the "other" shipping location. Those are some risk to think, but, for me, I fell that  once buyer sees item as shipped, at the very least they are happy with that.

Of course you can.  People are not trapped by their mailing address, but yes, it can affect cost and delivery time.  I'd keep the buyer in the loop so they don't wonder what is going on, but other than that, I wouldn't worry at all.

Communication is key. Make sure you are clear with buyers what you are doing. What buyers don't want is surprises.

If you felt comfortable, you might even put in the listing. I am traveling the next couple of weeks, but I have the item with me and will ship from the road.  This does not impact my time to get it shipped. May add a day or two on arrival.

Yes, you can ship from anywhere.

You should revise your listings so that 'Item location" is accurate.  Not only so the buyer has accurate information but also so that calculated shipping (if you use it) will charge them the right amount.

On the shipping label preparation form, change the "Shipping from" ZIP Code, which can be different from your return address. Again, this is so the correct postage is charged.
