Tracking removed from order.

So, yesterday I fullfilled an order and tracking was on the order.

Now I checked it today and it's in my Paid/Shipped but with no tracking.

So attempted to readd the tracking and get the message "Tracking number added is already used by a different seller.".

What can I do?

Unfortunately, I didn't buy the label on eBay.

It was added to the order yesterday, but when checked today shows no tracking on the order.

It's still in Paid and Shipped. Just no tracking, and can't add it.

Sounds like a glitch, assuming you did a direct C&P. 

ETA: Another curious question: If you go to the USPS website, does tracking show origination at your zip code? 

Can you just add the tracking number to "add note" section of the order so it's there and shows as having been added within your handling time?

did you have multiple orders and transpose one or two?

Does your shipping service not 'post-back' to ebay for you?

(or was this manual from the start?)

Double check your receipt for input error if it was manual, too....

It's uploaded automatically via PirateShip. Never had an issue.

Yeah, the tracking all shows correct information for origination. Technically I haven't shipped it yet.

I'm guessing the only way to fix this would be to void the label and buy a new one.

I did 3 with Pirateship yesterday and 2 were automatic postback and 1 I had to copy & paste (because I did not import it)

I just checked and all 3 are viewable in Paid & Shipped, so I am not sure what may have happened here....

If you already shipped it, and want to protect your "uploaded on time", well...I think you know what to do

what does the tracking info say for that number right now? (or were you just now taking it to the PO)

Okay, I think a workaround fixed it.

Did the USPS alias, 420+zip+tracking. and eBay accepted it.

Hopefully that doens't cause issues.

Little concerning that it added the tracking successfully yesterday, and it was removed. Then I'm guessing since it was already used (by me) it refused to let it be used again (weird message another seller used?!?!).

Because this isn't really an issue of PirateShip failing to sync the tracking. eBay says my brand new tracking label (created last night) used by a different seller. 🤔

It was a late order last night that came in after carrier was closed.

So I still have it in my possession. Wasn't planned to ship out until around 3:30pm PDT today (about 30 minutes before carrier closes here).

So I could have voided the label.

But I know it was uploaded to the order by me (regardless of ebay's message of another seller). Something happened last night. This is why you don't work late.

if i was still in possession, i may have voided it, but i think your workaround is OK....

I wouldn't be half surprised if the original number populates that entry too at a later date

...totally agree with the 'work late' comment....
