If you are talking about USPS tracking numbers, it is not unusual for there to be a lag in tracking updates. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, tracking updates are a common problem with USPS for whatever reason. There is no reason to worry, as long as the tracking updates in a day or two. As long as your item arrives on time, it won't count against your metrics.
