Tracking nr & delivering locally or pick up

How do you go about providing tracking to Ebay if I were to deliver large item locally?

You cant..but if the item is local pick up, the buyer will give you the QR code to scan when he picks the item up..tracking is not required on local pick ups.

I delivered item myself next day and uploaded signature and pictures. Buyer confirmed and yet I was hit in seller performance for not validating tracking. How pathetic ebay is in this matter

If local pickup was not an option then that's why you were dinged. If you offered shipping eBay's software program wanted to see that you mailed by your handling time. Tracking is proof you did. 

Have you tried contacting eBay on social media?  Speak to someone,. Maybe they can remove the defect.

It was the option but buyer wasn;t picking it up. I offered delivery as it was cheaper to buyer than shipping by $150. I did favor to buyer and made sure item is delivered quick and undamaged. It is pathetic still
