I had a customer send a request to return something, say it didnt fit and Ebay automatically apprved the return.  He later stated he misunderstood the item and the way it worked.

does Ebay always automatically accept returns and make me pay for an item that is now used and can't be resold.  I assume I also have to pay return shipping although I dotn see it stated anywhere.  I also cant even respnd to the case since it was automaticallt accpeted.

Is this normal?

It started in the late fall. If a seller allows returns and their policy is that the buyer pays return shipping, the return is accepted automatically.
