Stop Asking Stupid Questions Like Where Is My Package

A lot of people had once asked me about "Where is my package?", "Why there is no update for two weeks?", "What is wrong with my package?", "When can I receive my package?", "What is the estimated delivery date of my package?" and so on. And now think about yourself, did you ever ask someone about this? I did! But later, I figured out the right way to treat things like these which stopped me asking "Where is my package" again. Below are my suggestions!

Rule No.1 Check out the shipping privacy before you buy!

Almost every online merchant will list shipping privacy which includes shipping carriers, shipping time, shipping rate and shipping destinations on the e-commerce site to inform customers the basic knowledge about shipping. Therefore, before you click "checkout", also kindly look at if the shipping privacy are acceptable. Besides, consult seller when your product will be shipped so that you can know when to track and trace it.

Rule No.2 Make sure your item can be traceable!

Buyer wants the cheapest price to get the best product and so does seller. However, many sellers would choose to sacrifice the lack of tracking info to get the most competitive price. If you are buying a very cheap product and with free shipping, you had better ask seller if you will be assigned a tracking number and if your package can be traceable on the whole route. By doing so, you can enjoy a much faster shipping way with less package lost rate.

Rule No.3 Track your shipment!

If your shipment has been shipped out, seller will usually send you an email with tracking number, order number and something else. Check your Spam folder if you believe your item has shipped but did not get a notification. If you only got an order number, please insist on getting a tracking number from your seller. By that, you will be able to track packages in your preferred ways instead of just going back to your order page.

Besides, when you have a tracking number, you can detect which courier your shipment is carried by and thus to know which country your shipment is coming from. Currently, Trackingmore is doing a great job in detecting courier by a tracking number. Just enter your tracking number on its homepage and you will be given hints about which courier your shipment is carried by.

Another reason to do this is to prevent some sellers creating tracking info by their internal system and pretend that they have shipped your goods very fast while actually they may still prepare your shipment.

Rule No.4 Contact sellers when any exceptions happen!

Always contact the right person to deal with things because only in this way will you find things work better. So contact seller when you need help. Whether your package is delayed, damaged, lost or takes too long time than expected, contact seller. An experienced seller or sales manager knows how to treat those awkward business than most of our buyers.
