USPS and stamps dot Com ends partnership. USPS Says it’s losing too much money. Well I never found stamps to be any cheaper but the other service I use the pirate one is cheaper so they’re probably next. Then they’ll stop the Ebay discounts. Ugh! Shipping costs too much anyway and if we can save a penny then it helps a lot. Just thought I’d let y’all know.

Your post seems to imply that Stamps.com will no longer be selling USPS. If so, that's not my understanding.
The big thing that I'm aware of is that Stamps.com has ended their exclusive relationship with the USPS, and will begin selling shipping from other services like UPS and FedEx, or Amazon's new shipping service.
I assume that they will still sell USPS postage at commercial rates ... just like a dozen other places. That said, Stamps.com has likely had a generous commission from the USPS for their sales, and that may no longer be so generous.

By the way, if you are getting your information from the article entitled "Taxpayers Win as the Postal Service Gives Stamps.com the Boot", then I would suggest that the writer of this article is massively ignorant and his information is highly untrustworthy.
Why? Look at the title ... "taxpayers" have nothing to do with the USPS. It is an independent agency that is self-supported by postage income ... not a single penny of money from taxpayers goes to the USPS. And, secondly, the "divorce" or the "boot" was initiated by Stamps.com, and not the USPS.

"eBay discounts" is a very slim area, well for me anyway, as most of my items ship FCP
The only eBay discounts that I am presently aware of for USPS would be the "commercial plus" discount on Priority that is no longer given by USPS, but eBay has extended to us.

You’re right. A penny saved.....
I get much better rates on the pirate site myself.

For those who does not know how it works.
1. USPS does not provide discounts based on volume. (They do have pre-sorted mail option which you must sort by zip before giving to USPS but the volume must be huge). UPS and FedEx do have discounts based on volume.
2. USPS does provide discount based on if you printed label online or bought it from clerk at the counter. Hence all prices Stamps.com, Endicia, EBay, Amazon ... all the same. There is no such thing as eBay discount (ebay calls difference between printing postage online and over the counter eBay discount).
3. Stamps.com was getting paid commission from sold postage in return Stamps.com was only printing USPS labels. USPS stopped that practice. Stamps.com will keep printing USPS labels but will support FedEx and UPS now.
