Sold an item and sent it via message

Hi, I've recently just sold an activation code for a bundle via Ebay. The problem is now that the funds on my PayPal account have been placed on pending untill I complete the Shipping process. Now the thing is I've already sent the activation code to the guy via ebay message. Is there any way to get the PayPal transaction out of Pending status without shipping a code that has already been given to the buyer? It's both a waste of time and money for me.

The hold on your payment will be released after 21 days since you have no tracking to upload.  If you do not want to wait that long, you can write down the code on a piece of paper and ship it using first class package.  Depending on where the buyer lives that could cost between $2.66 and $3.09 or you could just go to your ORDERS and "Mark as shipped".

Adding to what DisneyShopper wrote ... and for future reference ...

In most cases (including your situation), eBay  prohibits the sale of digital products, and PayPal does not protect you for the sale of digital goods because they only protect tangible, physical goods that can be shipped.
