Good evening! I have an order and I was getting ready to print a label when I saw at the top: Warning: The shipping address city may be wrong. We think the shipping city should be "x"? Do you just send to the original city or use the changed city (just omitting part of the same city) that Ebay wants you to use?  Thanks!

I send a message to the buyer and ask them this question before I buy the shipping label.

That is good advice but at the same time even the buyer may be wrong.

For example, for a time I lived in Hyde Park which is a neighborhood in the city of Boston. We always addressed our mail as Hyde Park. BUT only later when I got involved in mail order did I find out that the post office actually prefers the name Mattapan. Even on the USPS web site they make the note for that particular ZIP code 02126 : City Names to Avoid - Hyde Park.

It's happened. Put the address in google, and then 'attempt' to purchase a label through usps.com to see what comes up.

Bottom line- it's a cheap item, $10-$15...it will probably get there and doubt buyer is trying anything.
