Hi eBay Forum
I was hoping for guidelines, as this is abit weird.
I had a buyer order a item, however he wrote hes email in street adress in both Paypal and Ebay.
I contacted him, and he provided me with the correct street name. I send the package today (to the email street name as i didnt notice), but can ofcurse change it to the correct (guess it will be return else).
However should i do this according to rules? As i need to ship to the address verified?
In the address verified hes email is in street name...
Thank you very much for your help
Best regards

So the buyer had his email address in the 'street name' and you contacted him BEFORE shipping it or after? I don't know how you would 'change it' unless it was before shipping in which case I would never recommend doing on a large, expensive item. If it were something cheaper and the account looks good, aged with lots of feedback, then I have changed the ship-to address per the customers request.
(I didnt see the it before afterwards, i was checking orders todays)
After which i contacted the buyer and he updated it and provided the correct address. Asked him if he were sure this was hes correct address? as it looked abit weird to have a @ in it.
You should have cancelled the transaction, allowed the customer to straighten up their information and repurchase. If you had already shipped it and it would come back you are fine as it is the buyer responsibility. If they would like it re-shipped then I would charge them an additional shipping fee. If they don't wish to do that then you don't have to refund until the item comes back, and you only have to refund the original item price minus original shipping and handling. You don't have to eat those costs on this type of situation.
We have a personal shipment deal with UPS, were package can be interceptet or changed during transport.
