Shipping with multiple packages

I wish eBay would remedy that you cannot use their UPS discount for multiple shipping packages.

For example, I sold a drum set. Because of the size and weight, it needed to be shipped in 45 containers. There is no remedy to do this through eBay shipping. 

This problem cost me double my shipping estimate ($600)

Pirate Ship has the same basic discounts as eBay shipping.

I'd hate to have to pay return shipping on that.

It should have been listed for local pick up only.
