Shipping with Fed Ex.

I shipped a box Jan. 18, 2021 using Fed EX to Missouri recently.  Got the box back today.  It had been looks like reboxed, kind of.  Shipped 3 picture frames with historical documents in them.  The frame ends were sticking out of the box end and end taped over unevenly.  Said returned as not deliverable.  

I called Fed Ex and was told the box was opened for inspection, I guess in Missouri, and  then repackaged hap hazardly.  All my packing was at the bottom of the box so no safety for the frames in between which made the ends of the frames stick out.  2 frames broke and other picture, glass broken.  Totally on Fed Ex!!  This was crazy.  Often use Fed Ex as can be cheaper for my customer than USPS.  But don't know now.  Have submitted a claim.  

Don't know if any body else has encountered such or not.

Sound like a phony excuse to me. Probably dropped it off the dock and ran over it. Good luck with your claim. Remember though, eBay is the account holder so you may have to get them involved with your claim.
