Shipping questions

Hi, I have sold a vacuum cleaner and accessories and I'm a little confused about which way to ship it.  The package weighs 40 pounds and dimensions are 27x15x15 inches.  So I see that one option is Fedex home delivery (buyer selected).  It says "on eBay you save 58%" and gives a price of $26.66.  Does that mean that if I choose this method and use the QR code at the FedEx then I will be charged $26 for shipping this package??

Sounds very inexpensive for a package this weight and size.  Please help.  Thanks!

Re: Shipping questions

eBay FedEx amount is an "estimate".

There are any # of surcharges ($$$) that may be/often are added to that "estimated" cost.

You will not know the actual cost until after delivery with eBay FedEx labels.

Re: Shipping questions

Thanks for replying.  So is it better for me to just put a label on it and take it to my local FedEx for shipping and pay FedEx directly?

Re: Shipping questions

Whatever the cost turns out to be, you will pay less for an eBay shipping label than if you pay full price at the FedEx counter.
