Hello!
I recently sold something on eBay to a person that lives in Australia. (I am in Norway)
I sent the package with Posten Norge, and for some reason the standard international shipping always sends with EMS (Which means the package is priority express in other countries like Australia and the US.)
The EMS thing isn’t the worst part, the worst part is that Posten Norge always requires signature upon arrival in international deliveries.
AusPost tried delivering the package to the recipient but the recipient wasn’t home and now the package is at a post office. (Still requiring a signature)
And now I’m worried that the package will be returned to me because the recipient has not picked up the package. I have contacted the buyer and told them that the package is at the local post office.
In case it gets returned to me, do I have to return the money? Because I did send with standard shipping.
Also, yes, Posten Norge is the only company sending International from Norway. Yes, there are companies like DHL express or FedEx, but those almost cost 2,000kr. (Almost 200€) There’s no way someone would pay that much for shipping.
Anyways, I hope someone can give me some information or tips.
Thank you!

There was a delivery attempt which, generally speaking, means you have seller protections if the buyer files a non-receipt claim on eBay.
You uploaded tracking to the transaction, correct? The delivery attempt shows on tracking?
If the item is returned to you, once you have it in hand I generally suggest sending the buyer a refund for the item cost less shipping/fees.
