My bid won an item on the auction. I looked at the details for the item and it said local pickup "free". I didn't see Shipping details other than the pickup option. I live in Oregon, and the seller lives in new Hampshire so I need to have it shipped. I messaged the seller asking about potential shipping cost, but waiting for response. Any other advice on what I can do to resolve my issue

If the seller agrees to ship their local pick-up only item, then you are golden as long as you pay shipping, if the seller is not comfortable shipping what was meant to be picked-up, then maybe they will cancel the sale.

You shouldn't have bid on an item that didn't offer shipping, if you couldn't pick it up as specified in the listing. If the seller was wiling to pack and ship the item, then the shipping cost would have been shown. Send the seller another message and ask him to cancel the transaction. Without that specific request from you, the seller's other option is to file an unpaid item claim against you.

Admitt your mistake and ask for the sale to be cancelled.
