Can someone help me out with this whole shipping situation? Maybe explain it to me in a simpler form? Do i absolutely have to either print out the label using EBay or use the QR code for the label? Can’t I just take it to the post office( it’s like 1 minute away from me)and ship it to the buyer that way. Having a hard time understanding all this stuff. I’ve been buying stuff since 2013 but I never sold. Idk. Just needing help. I plan on upgrading the shipping, to as quick as possible and insuring as well.

You can take it right to the post office, just be sure to upload the tracking number you get to your eBay order.
Buying postage online is cheaper though.

Yes, you can just take it to the post office. But you must come back and enter the tracking number. I strongly encourage you to learn how to do it on ebay. You get a significant discount, the tracking number is uploaded right away, and it just makes everything go much smoother. Please come back here with the issues you are having. You have a whole team of veteran sellers who will gladly help you.

I believe that you also need to get signature confirmation with the delivery, as it is over $700.
You might already know, but packaging on this item shouldn’t be ignored. Personally, I’d put it in a good record mailer with the spacer flats surrounding it, then put that mailer in an even larger box - one with good structural integrity, with plenty of protection from peanuts or something else to cushion the mailer from potential dents and dings.

Yeah that part made sense, I guess the whole thing was a little confusing. I already spent about 30 min packing it up. I have it taped up in some bubble wrap, with the cardboard shields on top and bottom. It’s in a bigger box, I ordered like 6 full-size 12in records and they sent it a bigger box. It’s a heavy duty box, and I have the whole thing surrounded with more bubble wrap. The item won’t move at all I made sure of that. It’s definitely well packaged, i want it to get to its home 100% unscathed. Thanks for the help!

Seems like going through eBay is the way to go. I don’t have a printer though, so my opinion is to use the QR code. I will be back to check, thank you so much for the help.

Updated...I did not see that you said you don't have a printer....You can print off the shipping label on an inkjet or laser printer then cut it out and tape it to the box. If I remember correctly, USPS did not want the big code bar taped over, so I always taped everything but that.
But with that being said...if you ship even a few items, the savings will be enough to get at least a cheap inkjet...unless you do everything on your phone.
Then I got a shipping label printer and discovered sliced bread.
Like others have said...learn the system. You get shipping discounts here plus you won't have to wait in long lines at USPS or UPS during the holiday rush.
And...we're here to help!!

Daannnnggg.....a 7" vinyl record for $2k? I don't know what you accepted for an offer but congrats...especially with an ebay rating of (6)!
I have to say I am impressed. And it takes a lot to impress me on ebay.
Like I said before...we're here to help.

If you take it to the post office, you'll have to pay the shipping up front.
Since you're a new seller and the item sold for more then $1000, they'll probably hold the funds for 30 days.

$750 or higher is when Signature confirmation is required.
