Shipping new item as customer resolution

Hi everyone, I have a customer who thought she purchased 3 LOTS of 3 items and only received 3 total items instead of 9. After looking over the item description I assured her that I was sorry but she did only purchase 3 individual items and not the 3 LOTS she thought it was.

SO my solution was to offer her 3 additional items at no cost to her as a peace offering. Now my only issue is... how do I get the shipping label to print and be associated with that sale??

If using the Seller Hub, go to Overview > Orders > Shipping Labels

Locate the transaction and select Print Another Label.  Enter the weight and dimension of the package if it is different from the original shipment.  Print your label and ship your package.

Is this the listing?

Lot of 3 Lion Brand Fun Fur Yarn Fiji Eyelash Yarn Pink Purple NWT DISCONTINUED

It is clear to me that you are offering 3 skeins.  There is no way to select 3 lots.  If that is how your buyer understood the listing, there would have been a drop down box for her to select 1, 2 or 3 lots.

Re: Shipping new item as customer resolution

It may no longer be necessary to do so, but you may (?) want to print your second label from within Paypal instead of within eBay (and then give her the tracking # in messages).  I say this because it used to be (and may still be) that if you sent  a second shipment from within the same transaction, the whole item/order was considered a "late shipment" if the second tracking # item arrived later than the original estimated or guaranteed date eBay had originally displayed.  (I guess the system assumed you had forgotten something and held off seeing the whole order as delivered until the SECOND label you printed showed delivered too, once you printed off that second label:/.)

Maybe eBay has stopped that whole scenario ,but I'd hate to see you get zapped with a "late" right when you're trying to be so accommodating:/.
