Shipping labels

Lately when i printed my label for a package  like UPS , e-bay is charging me for USPS labels i never purchased. They had me buying 5 labels for two items . The USPS labels the P.O. keeps my money for quite awhile. This happened a long time ago now its happening again.

Please explain in further detail.   If you print a UPS label, what does that have to do with USPS labels?  You control the type and number of labels you purchase.  If you make a mistake you void the unused labels for a credit.  And what does the Post Office have to do with keeping your money?

She is probably referring to the lag time before receiving a refund on a cancelled USPS label. 

To the OP, when you cancel an USPS label, it tells you approximately how long before they issue the refund.

I know that , here is whats happening, I check price on all shipping USPS- UPS and Fedex and what is cheaper i than purchase UPS that label. For some reason it has me buying Two extra labels for one item  (USPS) and it's always USPS, The second item  it happened again I purchased UPS and one more Usps charged I never purchased. And there is more like that. It just started lately.

You are correct Lakefor USPS keeps that money for weeks. Because e-bay takes the money out right away.

I have been selling for several years and I know how to purchase a label. Like I said everytime e-bay changes something then things act up on my account and selling. I am not alone.  Even when i'm listing something I can't put the correct weight in my listing . Anything over 10 lbs it will not accept the weight. Maybe I will have to take a picture of my column of labels.

Something really wrong here if you are saying extra labels are purchased or charged without you creating them. 

Are you using the mobile App?

USPS can keep the money up to 3 weeks if it was a parcel/media mail label. They need to make sure that the label is not used. These items shipped this way can take 3 weeks to arrive and they are not always scanned in the beginning.  So you have to wait around 3 weeks AFTER you void the label.    To the poster, check MY EBay Labels after printing a label and if you see more than 1 label, you void it.

FIrst class and priority mail labels take less time to be refunded once you void. 

Before you print, go slow and make sure that ONLY 1 service is clicked.

Regarding multiple labels: are you buying labels on the website or the app?

Do you receive email confirmation for purchased labels? If you do, are you getting emails about both UPS and USPS labels?

Do you see the UPS and USPS labels both on this page? Which displays first - UPS or USPS and do they have the same time stamp (third column)?

Regarding the listing form not accepting weights over 10 lb: can you post a screenshot? What does the exact error message say?
