Shipping labels "invalid" at USPS

It's 2023 and I guess this is still a prob.  Over 30 labels a-okay since Jan. Today I get "Invalid". I voided, printed a new one, on a different computer and different printer, with a new tracking number, and STILL Invalid. 

Any ideas?

I had the same issue but I didn't notice until after I mailed the package. It said

Not Trackable

Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site.

 I went into panic mode. One of the responders here in this forum assured me it will be fine. And it was, the next morning tracking # showed the item was in transit.

So don't worry it will be ok.

I was asking them to scan it so I'd have proof it was in the USPS system, and it wouldn't scan.  Are you implying that if I tossed it in a bin with the "invalid" but appropriately eBay purchased label, it might get there?

I decided to use a different third party USPS provider and it fine and same cost. I'll try thru eBay again with the next sale. THANKS

If a clerk at a post office or your mailman picking up your packages can't scan the label barcode, they should be able to manually enter the tracking number (they might grumble about it, but they can do that.)

Sometimes when a package is dropped off in a bin at the post office the packages don't scan and doesn't show up in the tracking system until they are delivered. Very rare, but it happens, even if the barcode is well printed and not taped over or wrinkled etc. I have no idea why this happens.
