before everyone slams me for not understanding how it works I will admit I am lost. I am shipping a VCR/DVD combo from Alabama to CA. Why does my shipping label say 124.00? And will it get adjusted to the correct amount once I scan the item at the post office? I know, I should already know this, it’s only me 2nd item ever sold.

the 20 X 12 X 20 resulted in an oversize surcharge.
If you have purchased the label you can "request to void" and not use it. Refund can take 2 plus weeks to refund. USPS will wait to be sure it does not get used.
Then go back to the sold item and use the drop down arrow to "purchase another label".
Select the correct weight and dimensions to purchase another label.

So I did that but it didn’t give me any drop down menu for dimensions and weight. I’m probably just screwed but it will be a lesson learned. I was just hoping when they scan it at the post office I will tell them the dimensions and all of that is wrong and they would correct it.

Did you ship it already ????
If not you can request to void the label.
Someone will walk you through the step by step to do that.
If you already shipped......................... they should/may credit the error.

kensgifts was not replying to you. Was replying to another poster. Nothing there was directed at YOU.
Note the "in response to" when a post is made to see who a post is replying to 😁

No, your local Post Office will not be able to make any changes, corrections, or refunds. You should void that $124 label. Then either purchase a new label through eBay or purchase your postage at the Post Office counter.

So I want to make sure I am correct. We already voided the 1st one and when we printed a 2nd one it gave us no choices to change anything. If it were you would you void the 2nd one and just purchase shipping at the post office?

Go to Seller Hub/Orders/Shipping labels, find the $124 label and use the drop-down menu to 'Void label'.
Then go to Seller Hub/Orders/Paid and shipped and use the drop-down menu to 'Purchase another label'. When the page prefills, you'll find the fields to enter your dimensions and weight and select Priority shipping.
Your cost will be shown and you can 'Purchase label'. Note that the bad label needs to be voided within 5 days and the refund for it won't be to you for three or four weeks.

Just noticed I pressed 'Reply' after your last reply. ^^^ Are you sure you didn't just 'Print another label'?
Hint: Is it the same tracking number?

What are the actual shipping dimensions?
Shipping 12 pounds Priority at the post office will cost you $57.65
Online 12 pounds Priority online label will cost you $42.74
Online Ground Advantage would be $20.91, but your listing said Expedited shipping, so you should not use a slower shipping.
Thos prices are based upon your dimensions not exceeding 1 cubic foot.

At the label purchase page you need to click on each # to change the # for that dimension.
You can try that to see what the charge would be without actually purchasing that label
