Shipping items

The increased price of shipping is preventing me from selling certain items which were a mainstay of my seller account.  I normally never charged extra for shipping and used "calculated" shipping on larger sale items. On lesser sale items, I used "free," shipping. Now, the cost of shipping outweighs the price of the item, forcing a stoppage of the sale of my items. Any sellers experiencing the same issue?

A lot of sellers face this problem. Some things that have worked for others:

- Sell in lots/bundles to make shipping worth it

- Change the type of product and/or the price point of the product you sell

- Seek out more cost-effective shipping options

Since the account you're posting with doesn't show any items for sale it's difficult to offer more specific advice. Hopefully something in what I posted here will help regardless.

You have to keep adjusting tinkering with eBay, which is constantly evolving. Large items I don't bother to list on eBay, I list them on local selling app (Offerup, FB Marketplace, etc). You can eve list items on eBay as 'Pick Up Only.' Small items are still good one eBay, the shipping costs increase has been neglible

Don't know what you sell..........but I'm amazed that people pay for what I call  high shipping.  If someone wants it badly enough.......they pay.  I'm in PA and sell more than a bit to CA......so I wouldn't not list,  just assuming they won't pay.....

Similar problems have required adjustments to what is being sold at least for the 19 years I was selling. Nothing new. 

Selling here is a constant adjustment and re-evaluation. 

And, yes, I no longer have anything for sale. Still might start again, but not with what I had.
