With ebay's new payment options i m just curious if everyone is shipping their items before payment even comes completely through ? I just realized if someone does not use paypal it could take awhile for processing, but then shouldn't we wait and then will we get penalized for not shipping on time then?
My last transaction I cant even see how they paid and it still shows processing payment....

It doesn't matter how they pay now, it all takes time for processing.
Shipping is up to the seller. I don't like to ship until I have the funds, so I set my Handling Time at 5-Day. It appears that MP takes 4 business days from the buyer to deposit... so I'm good.
As long as you ship within your Handling Time, you're set.

DO NOT SHIP UNTIL THE MONEY IS IN YOUR PAYPAL* ACCOUNT!
A buyer who backs his PP account with a bank account is, in effect, writing you an e-check.
That has to clear, just like a paper check.
Once it has cleared, new sellers will find the payment is Held, as a Buyer Protection**, but the money has been received and you can ship safely.
ONLY use your PP account to confirm this. Do not trust any email or eBay Message or the Paid button on your Orders page.
And go to the PP account through your own bookmarks.
On the brighter side, you can use those Held funds to pay for a PP shipping label, and you may even get a small discount on the cost of shipping by doing so.
* or eventually Managed Payments
** because while most new sellers are perfectly honest, they will make mistakes. Shipping is the hardest part of selling by mail.

I expect to be in MP quite soon.
My orders will be shippable the moment the funds appear in my virtual MP account and eBay confirms payment has been made, no different than with PayPal.
I would never make a buyer wait, it would be like going into a store, making a purchase with your credit card and being told to come back in a couple of days when the funds have reached the stores bank account.
